What to expect ?

Day 1: Trek to Refuge de la Tazarhart & the Cascades

Your journey begins in the charming village of Imlil, nestled at the base of the High Atlas Mountains. From here, we start our ascent through picturesque Berber villages, passing ancient terraced fields and experiencing the traditional way of life that has remained largely unchanged for centuries.

As we continue our hike, we will visit a stunning waterfall which is a refreshing oasis set amidst rugged mountain terrain. The sight and sound of the cascading water provide a moment of tranquility before we push on toward the Refuge de la Tazarhart. This mountain refuge, perched at a high altitude, will be our home for the night, offering rustic yet cozy accommodation and spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. As the sun sets, we’ll enjoy a hearty meal and relax under a sky full of stars, preparing for the next leg of the journey.

Day 2: Ascend to the Toubkal Base Camp

After a nourishing breakfast at the refuge, we set off towards the Toubkal Base Camp. The trail will take us through high-altitude landscapes, offering glimpses of the towering peaks that surround us. The terrain becomes more rugged as we approach the base camp, but the sense of adventure and the ever-changing scenery make every step rewarding.

Upon reaching the base camp, located at the foot of Mount Toubkal, you’ll have time to relax, refuel, and acclimatize to the altitude. Our guides will share tips on preparing for the final ascent, and you’ll enjoy the camaraderie of fellow trekkers. The night is spent in the base camp’s mountain refuge, where you can rest and build your energy for the early morning summit attempt.

Day 3: Summit Day – Mount Toubkal & Descent

The final day of our trek begins early as we set out before dawn to tackle the summit of Mount Toubkal. The ascent is challenging but manageable, and as the sun rises, the surrounding peaks are bathed in golden light, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Reaching the summit of Toubkal is a triumphant moment — you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views that stretch across the Sahara Desert to the south and the rugged Atlas range to the north.

After celebrating your achievement and taking in the breathtaking views, we begin our descent back to Imlil, retracing our steps through the dramatic mountain landscapes. The feeling of accomplishment and the unforgettable experiences of the last few days will stay with you long after you leave the trail.
